A headshot is a photo with one job: to show your face clearly against a plain background. This tool makes exactly that from one ordinary photo of you. Your face, your skin, your hair and the clothes in the photo are kept as they are. The background is replaced with a seamless studio backdrop in the colour you choose, and the framing is tightened to head and shoulders, chest up or waist up, depending on the look.
Every look is one correction a portrait photographer would give you: chin level, eyes on the lens, shoulders off square, a real smile instead of the held one, soft light on the face. They come from the same library as Pose Maxing, rewritten for a portrait frame. Anything about the legs, the seat or the room was left out, because none of it exists in a headshot.
Eight fixed colours: white, off-white, light grey, charcoal, navy, studio blue, sage and warm beige. Light grey and off-white are what most company directories and LinkedIn profiles use. Charcoal and navy read more formal. White is for forms and ID-style requirements that ask for it.
Without an account the headshot is rebuilt from the one photo you upload, from one angle. With an account, the photos in your gallery go in as references, so the model has your face from several angles and the result holds your likeness far better. One free headshot a day either way; after that a headshot costs the same as any other photo.
Photos are processed by Azure OpenAI and OpenAI to make the edit and are not used to train models. Without an account the photo and the result are deleted after 24 hours.
