Free collage maker

Make a photo collage, free, no account

Pick a layout, add your photos, download the result. It costs nothing, there is no sign up, and your photos never leave your device: the collage is drawn in your browser, so there is nothing to upload and nothing for us to keep.

Pick a layout

Add your photos

Grid uses 4 photos. They fill in the order you add them. Fewer is fine; the empty cells stay as background.

Your photos never leave this device. The collage is drawn here, in your browser, and the only thing that reaches us is a count of which layout was used. Open your network tab and check: there is no upload to doubt.

What this does

A collage maker puts several photos into one image. You pick an arrangement, drop your photos in, and get back a single picture you can post, print or send. This one runs on CMeIn, costs nothing, and does not ask you to make an account first.

There are ten arrangements. Some are plain grids, two by two up to three by three. Some give one photo the space and let the others support it, which is what you want when one shot is clearly the best of the set. One is a deliberately uneven mosaic, for when a grid looks too tidy for what you are showing.

How to make a collage

  • Pick a layout. The preview shows exactly how the cells are arranged.
  • Add your photos. They fill the cells in the order you add them, so add your best one first in the layouts that have a large cell.
  • Press make. The image comes back in a second or two.
  • Download it. It is a 2000 by 2000 PNG, large enough for any social post and for a decent print.

You can use fewer photos than a layout has cells. Three photos in a four cell grid leaves one cell as background, which often looks deliberate rather than unfinished.

What happens to your photos

They never reach us. The collage is assembled by your own browser, on your own device, and the file you download was made there. There is no upload, so there is no copy of your photos on our servers to store, leak or delete, and nothing is ever added to a gallery whether or not you have a CMeIn account.

This is checkable rather than a promise. Open your browser's network tab, make a collage, and watch: no photo is sent. The only request is a short note recording which layout was used and how many photos were in it, so we can see which of the ten are worth keeping.

Why it is free

Because it costs us nothing to run. The work happens on your machine, not ours, so there is no server bill that grows with how many collages you make. There is no AI model involved either: nothing is generated and no credits are spent. Your photos are arranged, not altered.

So there is no daily limit, no queue and no account. Make as many as you want. The only ceiling is your own device, and a modern phone composes a nine photo collage in about a second.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. The tool works signed out and always will, and it works with no connection at all once the page has loaded. Signing in changes nothing about it, including where the result goes, which is nowhere but your downloads folder.

Is there a watermark?

No. The file you download is the collage and nothing else.

What size is the result?

2000 by 2000 pixels, PNG. Square, because that is what every social platform accepts without cropping.

How many photos can I use?

Up to nine, which is what the largest layout holds. There is no upload, so file size barely matters; the only ceiling is what your own device can hold in memory at once.

Does it change my photos?

Only the framing. Each photo is scaled to fill its cell and the overflow is cropped, biased slightly upward so faces are not cut off. No filters, no smoothing, no colour changes.

Will my collage show up anywhere on CMeIn?

No. We never receive it in the first place, so there is nothing to put anywhere. It is never added to a gallery, never appears in examples, and is never shown to anyone else.

If you need the photos themselves

A collage arranges pictures you already have. If the problem is that the pictures are not good enough to arrange, that is the rest of what CMeIn does: realistic photos of you, built from a handful of ordinary phone photos, in places you have not been. The collage maker stays free either way.
